Texas Hill Country Welcomes New Retailer, Diecast Republic in Spring Branch, TX.
Diecast enthusiasts throughout Texas give two thumbs up to the new diecast specialty shop, Diecast Republic, located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in Spring Branch, Texas.
Situated within the new District on 46 retail center north of San Antonio on state highway 46 between Boerne and New Braunfels, collectors will find thousands of diecast vehicles including brands such as Hot Wheels, Matchbox, M2 Machines, Greenlight, Johnny Lightning, and Auto World.
Diecast Republic is an extension of its online parent company Hallsguide.com which began as an online price guide for diecast collectibles in 1998. Founder Trenton Hall explains, “I’ve been a collector all my life. When I was a kid I collected baseball cards and diecast cars like Hot Wheels and Matchbox. I relied on Beckett Magazine to provide estimations for the value of my baseball cards, but I never found anything to help me know the value of my diecast collection. In college, I began messing around with a bit of computer programming and ended up building the first online price guide for diecast, with a focus primarily on Hot Wheels.”
That online website evolved to include an Ebay store and a direct shipping enterprise which Hall grew over the course of two decades.
